1. Check in detail the model and various data marked on the motor nameplate, such as rated capacity, rated voltage, protection level, etc., to see if they comply with the drawings or actual on-site requirements.

2. Check whether the motor assembly is good and whether the firmware is loose; Check for good contact and rust on all conductive connection parts.

3. Is the paint on the casing of Zhucheng General Motors intact, and is there a rotation direction sign and number on the casing. Whether the casing is damaged, and whether there are cracks in the fan cover and blades; Whether the rotation direction of the electric fan is correct, and whether the fixing keys or screws are tightened.

4. Rotate the shaft by hand to check if it rotates flexibly and if the axial movement exceeds the allowable range.

5. Open the junction box and use a multimeter to check if the three-phase winding is open. If necessary, use a bridge to measure the DC resistance of the three-phase winding and check if the resistance deviation is within the allowable range (the difference between the DC resistance of each phase winding and the average value of the three-phase resistance should generally not exceed plus or minus 2%)

6. Use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between each phase winding of the motor and between each phase winding and the casing. If the rated voltage required for electric power is 500V, use a 500V megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance value, which should not be less than 0.5M Ω.

7. Remove the bearing cover or open the bearing shells, and check if the lubricating grease of the bearings has changed color. Deterioration and hardening, whether the amount of grease is sufficient. If the bearing is well lubricated, gently rotate the rotor. The rotor should rotate flexibly without any friction.

8. Check if the balance weight on the rotor is tight. If fixed with screws, it should be locked;,

9. Does the clearance between the sealing ring of the stator end cover and the shaft comply with the regulations of Zhucheng Motor Manufacturing Factory? If there are no regulations from the manufacturing factory, it should generally be 0.1-0.33mm. In dusty areas, measures should be taken to prevent dust from entering the motor bearings.

10. Check whether the joint surfaces of the connecting components inside the motor are flat, whether the connecting screws of each part and each coil wire are tightened, and whether there are anti loosening measures.

11. Check whether the motor leads are secure, whether the wiring and polarity are correct, and whether the markings are complete. When using insulating sleeves for lead out, check whether the insulating sleeves are complete, in good condition, and have no damage or cracks.

12. For DC motors, it is necessary to check whether the brush and commutator are in good contact and whether there is any rust phenomenon;

For wound motor, it is necessary to check whether the brush and collector ring have good contact. In both cases, the contact area should be greater than 75% of the brush area. In addition, it is also necessary to check whether the brush spring pressure is appropriate and whether the brush moves freely in the grip. If it does not meet the requirements, the cause should be identified and removed.

After the above inspection, if there are no abnormalities in the installation form of the motor, and if the motor capacity is above 40KW, the rotor should be extracted for inspection.
